Getting Started
What is Still Got It?
Still Got It is a behavioural micro-tool that helps you combat impulse buying. When you see something you want, capture it — snap a photo, paste a link, or save it from your browser. After a waiting period, you'll be reminded to decide if you still want it. It's a simple way to separate genuine desire from impulse.
How do I add items?
There are several ways to add items: take a photo directly in the app, paste a product URL, use the browser extension to save from Chrome or Firefox, or share a link from Safari or any mobile browser using the share sheet.
What information is extracted from links?
When you paste a product URL, Still Got It automatically extracts the product title, image, description, and price from over 35 supported retailers including Amazon, ASOS, Nike, and more. It also handles shortened URLs from services like Bitly.
Reminders & Decisions
How do reminders work?
When you save an item, you choose a waiting period — 2 days, 7 days, 2 weeks, or a custom duration. When the time is up, you'll receive a push notification asking "Still got it?" prompting you to decide whether to buy or skip.
Can I extend a reminder?
Yes. When a reminder arrives and you're not ready to decide, you can extend it by 24 hours or set a custom delay. There's no pressure to decide immediately.
What happens when I decide?
You can mark an item as "bought" or "skipped". Bought items are recorded in your history, and skipped items contribute to your savings stats. Either way, the item moves out of your waiting list.
Browser Extension
How do I install the browser extension?
The Still Got It extension is available for Chrome and Firefox. Install it from the Chrome Web Store or Firefox Add-ons, then sign in with your account to start saving items directly from product pages.
How does auto-extraction work?
When you click the extension on a product page, it reads the page metadata — JSON-LD structured data, Open Graph tags, and common price patterns — to automatically fill in the product title, image, price, and description.
How do I pair the extension with the mobile app?
Open the mobile app and go to Settings > Pair Device. You can either scan the QR code shown in the extension, or enter the 6-character pairing code manually. Once paired, items sync instantly between devices.
Cross-Device Sync
How do I pair my devices?
Go to Settings > Pair Device in the mobile app. The extension displays a QR code and a 6-character code. Scan the QR code with your phone or type the code manually to link them.
What is the 6-character code?
It's a temporary pairing code displayed in the browser extension. Enter it in the mobile app as an alternative to scanning the QR code. The code expires after a few minutes for security.
Do items sync in real time?
Yes. Items sync instantly across all paired devices via Convex, our real-time backend. Any item you save, skip, or buy is reflected everywhere immediately.
Pro & Subscription
What's the difference between Free and Pro?
The free tier lets you save a limited number of items at a time. Pro gives you unlimited items, cloud backup, cross-device sync, and removes ads.
How do I upgrade to Pro?
Open the app and go to Settings > Upgrade to Pro. Subscriptions are handled through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) via RevenueCat.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed through your App Store or Google Play account. Go to your device's subscription settings to cancel. You'll retain Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
Privacy & Data
What data do you collect?
We collect the items you save (photos, URLs, product details), your app settings, and basic usage analytics. We do not sell your personal data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can delete individual items at any time, or contact us to request full account deletion. We will remove all your data from our servers.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored securely on Convex, a cloud backend platform. Photos are stored in Convex file storage. All data is encrypted in transit.
Troubleshooting
The app isn't syncing between devices.
Make sure both devices are signed into the same account and have an active internet connection. Try re-pairing from Settings > Pair Device. If the issue persists, sign out and back in on both devices.
I'm not receiving notifications.
Check that notifications are enabled for Still Got It in your device settings (Settings > Notifications on iOS, or App Info > Notifications on Android). Also make sure you haven't disabled reminders within the app.
The extension isn't detecting the price.
Price detection depends on how the retailer structures their page. If the price isn't detected automatically, you can always enter it manually. We continuously improve detection for more retailers.
